ARE YOU LIVING THE LIFE THAT LIFE IS CALLING YOU TO LIVE?
The purpose of life is to live.
For some of us that might mean living with a strong sense of purpose, perhaps striving towards a specific goal. For others it might be a quest for knowledge & meaning. For others it can be a desire for joy, appreciation, connection, or contentment.
While we each has a different interpretation of what living well means I suspect most of us will agree on what living well isn’t.
A life well lived isn't a life of just existing, of going from one day to the next repeating the same struggles without any sense of prosperity or growth.
For some people this can be struggling to get ahead financially. For others it might be struggling in personal relationships - repeating the same uncomfortable patterns with different people one year to the next. For others it can be struggling with physical health. For some people, from the outside looking in, it might appear that they have all of these things, but inside they are frustrated by a sense of emptiness and unfulfillment.
WHAT IS THE LIFE THE LIFE THAT LIFE IS CALLING YOU TO LIVE?
This is not about imagining a perfect life and then trying to create it. Yes, of course, if you are trapped in a repetative and meaningless cycle where you just feel like you are existing rather then living then imagining a better way of life and acting towards it is a reasonable and healthy thing to do. The REVIVER course is designed to help you realise a better life in this way but the foundation to living well is first about the relationship that you have to living and life as a whole. When this improves then everything else has a tendancy to slot into place.
It is not wrong to imagine a better life - or even a perfect life - it is the attachment to that vision and trying to create it from a place of lack or fear which all so often causes problems for people.
A BETTER WAY?
I would invite you to consider times in your life when you have felt truely connected to being alive - often it is a sense of being really present and engaged with the expereince - a sort of flow state. They can be times when we feel truely free to express ourselves fully, and freely - openly and honestly.
I want you to consider that times when life has felt best are not about what you have been doing but rather your connection to doing it. Life felt good because you felt safe to be yourself - safe to express the truth that was on your mind and in your heart, whether it was recieved or not.
It is this ability to 'be yourself' that I propose is at the root of a well lived life. It is about each of us having as clear a connection to our experience of life ans we can and the freedom to express ourselves in alignment with what we know to be good, and right, and true.
When we live life in this way the shape of our lives forms around that integrity.
SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
The problems we face then, in general, are related to feeling seperate and restricted.
This is not about being able to live a life in which we do whatever we want whenever we want - this is about living true to ourselves - which is about living in alignment with the truth that we learn about ourselves and the world. While this can ultimatly be a truely liberating way to live, it is not always easy, in fact it can be remarkably uncomfortable.
Honesty with oneself is one of the core principles of the REVIVER program, as you will see from the free training.
Living well is not about trying to fix our lives or to become a version of ourselves we think we need to be in order to live a better life. Again, this is not to say that there are not benefits in developing ourselves. Learning new skills and developing our abilities will almost certainly enhance out quality of life, but the our well-being is more the result of removing the limitations and restrictions to the honest expression of ourselves and the connection that we have to ourselves, others, and the world.
We’re not trying to fix ourselves, we are simply trying to reconnect to the truth of the unique expression that our individual life is.
WHAT PREVENTS US FROM CHANGING?
If all we really need to do to live a better life is to know and be ourselves the question is why don't we?
The limitations and restrictions that we impose upon ourselves and the limitations and the restrictions that have imposed upon us by the outside world are what inhibit us. Sometimes we are conscious of these limitations and restrictions and sometimes we are not. In order to bring ourselves back to life, back to living a fuller life, we must become conscious of them. We must learn how to recognise them in us and to identify their reflections in the world we inhabit.
The REVIVER program invites you to do this too: To become conscious of the unconscious. To increase your self-awareness. To realise who and what you truely are - which is always an individual quality that we must come to ourselves. Simple in principle but in practice this often requires patience and perseverance as we need to be rigerously honest with ourselves, which can be uncomfortable to say the least.
Facing truths that we have ignored or buried, generally in an attempt to stay safe, can be very uncomfortable and even frightening.
LIVING LIFE BY DESIGN...
- The REVIVER program is designed to help you consider how these blocks and behaviours can be recognised, and identify what might have been limiting you from expressing the truth of yourself - the truth of your experience of life - and then to help you face as many of the necessary challenges, and cross as many beneficial thresholds as you can as you go about creating what you can of life.
- The REVIVER Program provides a step-by-step process that invites you to reveal conscious and unconscious influences that have been informing the way you have shaped your life up until now. It is an on going invition to claim as much of your agency, responsibility, autonomy, and sovereignty as you can - and then put it to good use - to live life well.
- The REVIVER program itself lasts for four months in total, with 100 short, succinct, digestible lessons delivered one a day for 100 days. Each is an invitation to explore yourself and set to work in changing your life for the better by improving your relationship to yourself, to other people, and to the world.
- In support of this we have an online community which includes a weekly Q&A to help with focus and clarity in any area the course deals with.
- Once you have completed the course there is also an alumni group where you can stay in touch and connect with others who are commited to thier own journey.
A FOUNDATION FOR FREE
I want people to buy the REVIVER course and I want people to pay full price for it. I also want to see the world change for the better, and that is far more important. That is why the training you find on this page contains all of the foundation principles for free + a full outline of what the REVIVER program contains.
The free training is provided both for those interested in the paid program who will want a clearer picture about what the REVIVER Program has to offer and how it is laid out, and also as a gift to those who are struggling and can't afford the full paid program at this time.
While the value in the paid program is vastly greater the value in the free seminar is as complete as I could make it in covering a workable amount of the basics - the bits that you can take away and use. As long as we (as a species) persist in living life unconsciously we will continue to project onto each other and the world all those unresolved conflicts within us. Not only does this conflict diminish our individual lives but it diminishes the quality of life for the wider world. While we are not responsible for the conflicts of the world by attending to that which is our responsibility, by making the unconscious conscious within ourselves to the degree that it affects a positive change in our lives, we reduce the amount of unnecessary suffering and pain in the world as a result.
The more of us who attend to our own lives in this way the more the world will change as a whole.
That to me is a good and worthwhile thing to pursue.
