5 minute read

The unconscious forces of my psyche, for reasons not fully known to me, have deemed it fitting I should be releasing the lessons for the REVIVER course a couple of days ahead of everyone on the program.

I've had months to do this, but at every step of the way something has blocked the process. But there are insights here, valuable insights - at least potentially - that pertain to all of us. Psychological principles and processes that if we were to appreciate them might give us an answer to that perennial question...

"What the fuck?"

Permit me to use my current situation to explain the details. Perhaps you can relate?

pressure

There can be a huge value in pressure - as long as it's not overwhelming. The obvious analogy is that of a steam engine. Too little pressure and the machine won't work. Too much and the whole thing could blow. Staying in the sweet spot is part art and part science - as much as you can plan for life there are unseen forces in the psyche that will conspire to help you optimise if that's what you are ready to commit to.

At one level it is like riding a wave, there is an urgency to it, and a necessity to produce content at a rate that is ahead of those going through the program currently. This urgency increases attention because I'm surfing the wave with them by running through the REVIVER program myself (for the second time) I can see the links between lessons that they yet cannot.

However - and here's the dilemma - if I don't increase production on the lessons I'll never get around to producing the YouTube series, and I'm dependent on that in order to promote the program. So that's an added pressure.

hidden forces

There are hidden forces conspiring to support us, as long as we are supporting an evolving expression of life.

I don't pretend to fully understand every aspect of this because some of the patterns that play out in our lives are far beyond the capacity of a conscious mind to make sense of. Do not presume to know the will of the Gods would be one archaic phrase that points to this principle. The gods being those archetypal of forces that shape our lives beyond our individual agency.

It's a collaboration. Whether you call it God, or Self, or your spirit guides, or angels, or The Mighty Odd, it is less important what these forces are rather the significant factor seems to be the relationship you have to them.

relax
I'm telling this to myself as much as I'm telling you, but if I could offer just one piece of advice, it would be this, relax.   I want to be specific here, this really is advice to just to do one thing.   Of course, it is the nature of the universe that as soon as we decide that we've got a good bit of advice to share with someone else we're given an opportunity to test the theory for oursel...
new moon
4 minute read It's a strange thing to consider, the days before the Internet when printed text and word of mouth were the prime sources of information exchange.   Libraries and bookshops were sanctuaries during that time, but they weren't exclusive. Waiting rooms and cafés were also sources of freely accessible reading material.    The specific Café I am thinking of was attached to a railway st...
the life compass
2 minute read   Imagine a device that, without fail, points in the direction of the most worthwhile experiences you could have in life: the most fulfilling, joyful, satisfying, healthy expressions of being that you could ever wish to embody.     This book isn't it. But maybe it comes close.    The Life Compass is a tool; a guide, an invitation to develop greater clarity of those truths that ar...
