The unconscious forces of my psyche, for reasons not fully known to me, have deemed it fitting I should be releasing the lessons for the REVIVER course a couple of days ahead of everyone on the program.

I've had months to do this, but at every step of the way something has blocked the process. But there are insights here, valuable insights - at least potentially - that pertain to all of us. Psychological principles and processes that if we were to appreciate them might give us an answer to that perennial question...

"What the fuck?"

Permit me to use my current situation to explain the details. Perhaps you can relate?

Pressure

There can be a huge value in pressure - as long as it's not overwhelming. The obvious analogy is that of a steam engine. Too little pressure and the machine won't work. Too much and the whole thing could blow. Staying in the sweet spot is part art and part science - as much as you can plan for life there are unseen forces in the psyche that will conspire to help you optimise if that's what you are ready to commit to.

At one level it is like riding a wave, there is an urgency to it, and a necessity to produce content at a rate that is ahead of those going through the program currently. This urgency increases attention because I'm surfing the wave with them by running through the REVIVER program myself (for the second time) I can see the links between lessons that they yet cannot.

However - and here's the dilemma - if I don't increase production on the lessons I'll never get around to producing the YouTube series, and I'm dependent on that in order to promote the program. So that's an added pressure.

Hidden Forces

There are hidden forces conspiring to support us, as long as we are supporting an evolving expression of life.

I don't pretend to fully understand every aspect of this because some of the patterns that play out in our lives are far beyond the capacity of a conscious mind to make sense of. Do not presume to know the will of the Gods would be one archaic phrase that points to this principle. The gods being those archetypal of forces that shape our lives beyond our individual agency.

It's a collaboration. Whether you call it God, or Self, or your spirit guides, or angels, or The Mighty Odd, it is less important what these forces are rather the significant factor seems to be the relationship you have to them.

Modern Life

The compounding effects of living in an age of rational materialism is that these psychological principles and processes - at least that is how I perceive them - have been relegated to a realm of fantasy and illusion. The notion of a God or Gods has been consigned to the shelf of fiction. They have become invisible forces in the sky whose function appears to be to ameliorate our fear of death and to act as a silent enforcer in wars for resources. Oh, and they are just at home colonising ideologies or isms. Anywhere there is the potential for belief infact. That is their nature.

the joys you can't predict for
"You have to try this!"   My friend's face, pitched with glee, giggling, almost maniacally, led me into a room where he pointed at a box filled with two scores of ducklings.   "Put your head in the box!" He ranted.    I looked at him, bemused.    "I'll show you." He said, as if I hadn't understood the brief.   He lay down and rested his head in the box, giggling. The little ducklings swarmed...
wherever the path leads
(5 min read)   What will it cost you NOT to change?   This is a question I want to return to over the next few weeks, because if we do not change what we're doing then we run the risk of continuing to get the same results we have been, and if those results are not the ones we want, then we run the risk of aging with regret. Of all the forms of suffering I know, when drawn out, this can be one o...
the shape of things to come
(9 min read)   What happens when something that was once considered to be a conspiracy theory gets labelled as a 'trend vector'?   You may have seen an article doing the rounds recently concerning AI-powered WiFi sensing technology, a technology that has the ability to create a three-dimensional monitoring and surveillance system.   Understandably some people are concerned about the implication...
